Big League Breakdown

This is a pretty good breakdown of Josh Donaldson's swing. For you players that I have worked with you Know how I preach about getting separation between the upper and lower body (The whole stretch the rubber-band effect) We also talk a lot about shaft to shoulder which this guy doing the breakdown touches on. I don't expect everyone to have the high leg kick and aggressive somewhat violent load that Josh has but you should be able to get into a power position using your lower body to trigger the upper body once you start your swing. Pay close attention to the part where the hips start the swing. I love how he doesn't even bring up the hands. Love the shoulder rotation and the high finish.
