Evolution Of A Baseball Player
Progression of A Baseball Player
2-4 Years Old......A hint of athletic ability may begin to surface
5-7 Years Old......Walks around with a baseball bat and ball 24/7 brakes windows
and other valuables throughout the house.
8-9 Years Old......Can turn a double play every occasionally...still breaking
things in the house. May be big enough to sit in the front seat of
the car thus now putting car windshield in jeopardy. BASEBALL IS FUN!
10-12 Year Old’s..Is a seasoned veteran and starts costing parents thousands of dollars
on the latest and greatest baseball equipment. Eye Black runs ramped
and they start trying to snap off 12 to 6 curve balls. (please parents prevent this)
13-14 Year Old’s...They know everything there is to know about the game now because they are playing
on a 60/90 field but they can’t believe that they got thrown out at first base on a solid
hit to left field. Eye Black has now turned decorative and they are covered in
protection from head to toe hence why they get thrown out at first from left field.
15-18 Year Old’s…Polished High School Baseball player that has his own wheels and rolls up to practice
With his walk-up song cranked and girlfriend under his arm. Thinks that he is the cat’s
Meow and has perfected the bat flip for the one or two homeruns he may hit in the
Season.
19-22 Year Old’s…If they are good enough to still be playing they have passed all the previous test and
Have entered a pretty impressive company of elite athletes. The Game turns into a
very competitive endeavor, and for the very few fortunate ones it turns into a Job, but
it’s hard to Refer to Baseball as a Job, it is now and always will be the Grand Game.
BASEBALL IS FUN at every level!
